Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data ClickCopyPitch collects from you, why we collect it, and what we do — and don't do — with it. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We use it only to run the product.

Plain English Summary

You gave us your name, email, WhatsApp number, and your target search (service, business type, city). We use this to notify you when we launch, send your leads to you, and improve the product. We use Meta to run ads — they may have set a cookie if you arrived via an ad. You can ask us to delete your data at any time. That's the whole picture.

Overview

ClickCopyPitch ("we", "us", "our") is a product operated by a freelancer in India. We are building a tool that helps freelancers find and pitch local businesses that need their services.

This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our website at clickcopypitch.com, including our waitlist, onboarding forms, and any related communications (email, WhatsApp).

By joining our waitlist or submitting your details through any form on our site, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not submit your information.

This policy complies with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices) Rules, 2011, and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, Aadhaar numbers, passwords, or health data.

How we use your data

We use your data only for the following purposes:

To deliver the product. Your name, email, service type, business category, and location are used exclusively to build and deliver your personalised lead search when we launch.
To notify you at launch. We send one launch email and (with your consent) one WhatsApp message when the product goes live. We do not send newsletters, promotional sequences, or repeated marketing messages.
To improve ClickCopyPitch. Aggregated, anonymised data about which cities and categories are most in demand helps us prioritise our index. This data cannot be traced back to individual users.
To measure our advertising. If you arrived via a Meta ad, the Meta Pixel on our site measures whether that ad led to a waitlist signup. We do not receive your individual identity from Meta for this purpose — only aggregated ad performance data.

We will never use your data to send unsolicited commercial messages, sell to third parties, build advertising profiles, or share with data brokers.

Third-party services

We use the following third-party services to operate ClickCopyPitch. Each has their own privacy policy which governs how they handle data on their end.

Meta (Facebook)
We run ads on Meta platforms and use the Meta Pixel to measure conversions. Meta may set cookies on your browser if you arrive via an ad. Meta Privacy Policy →
WhatsApp
We use WhatsApp Business to send you lead notifications, but only if you explicitly consent on our onboarding form. WhatsApp is owned by Meta. WhatsApp Privacy Policy →
Email provider
We use a transactional email service to send launch notifications and confirmations. Your email address is shared with this provider solely for delivery purposes.
Hosting provider
Our servers and database are hosted on a cloud infrastructure provider. Your data is stored in servers located in India or a jurisdiction with adequate data protection standards.
Google Fonts
Our website loads fonts from Google's servers. Google may log the request (your IP and browser type). Google Privacy Policy →

We have data processing agreements in place with all service providers who handle personal data on our behalf. We do not allow them to use your data for their own purposes.

WhatsApp communications

We send WhatsApp messages only if you explicitly check the consent box on our onboarding form. This constitutes a clear, affirmative act of consent as required under the DPDP Act, 2023.

What we send via WhatsApp:

One message when ClickCopyPitch launches, informing you that your leads are ready. We do not send marketing sequences, promotional offers, or automated drip messages via WhatsApp.

To withdraw WhatsApp consent at any time, reply STOP to any message we send, or email us at the address in the Contact section. Withdrawal of consent will not affect your waitlist status or access to the product.

Your WhatsApp number is stored securely and is not shared with any third party other than the WhatsApp Business API provider used to deliver messages.

Meta ads & tracking

We run paid advertisements on Meta platforms (Instagram and Facebook) to reach freelancers who might benefit from ClickCopyPitch. To measure whether our ads are working, we use the Meta Pixel — a small piece of JavaScript that runs on our website.

The Meta Pixel may:

Set a cookie on your browser when you visit our site, particularly if you arrived from a Meta ad. This cookie helps Meta tell us that a user who saw our ad went on to sign up — as an aggregate count, not individually identified.
Send event data to Meta such as "PageView" (you visited the site) and "Lead" (you submitted the waitlist form). We do not send your name, email, or WhatsApp number to Meta through the Pixel.

If you'd prefer not to be tracked by Meta's Pixel, you can:

— Use the Meta Ad Preferences tool to opt out of interest-based advertising.
— Install a browser extension that blocks tracking pixels.
— Enable "Do Not Track" in your browser settings (note: Meta does not guarantee this is honoured).

Meta's use of data collected through the Pixel is governed by Meta's Privacy Policy, not ours.

Data storage & security

Your data is stored in a secured database hosted on cloud infrastructure. We implement the following measures to protect it:

Encryption
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Data at rest is encrypted at the database level.
Access control
Only authorised team members can access the database, protected by strong authentication and role-based permissions.
No password storage
ClickCopyPitch does not currently require a password to join the waitlist. No passwords are stored.
Retention period
We retain your data for the duration of your account's existence. If you request deletion, we remove it within 30 days. Anonymised aggregate data (no name, email, or phone) may be retained indefinitely for product analytics.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify you within 72 hours of becoming aware of it, as required by applicable law.

Your rights

Under the DPDP Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law, you have the following rights regarding your personal data. To exercise any of these, contact us at the email in the Contact section.

If any of your data is inaccurate or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it.

You can ask us to delete your personal data at any time. We will do so within 30 days. This will also remove you from the waitlist.

You can withdraw consent for WhatsApp communications at any time by replying STOP or emailing us. For email communications, every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.

Right to data portability
You can request a copy of the data you've provided us in a machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).

Right to grievance redressal
If you believe your rights have been violated, you can raise a complaint with us first, and if unresolved, approach the Data Protection Board of India once constituted under the DPDP Act.

Children's privacy

ClickCopyPitch is not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data through our site, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the product evolves. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

If the changes are material — meaning they affect how we use your data in a way that is meaningfully different from what you originally agreed to — we will notify you by email before the changes take effect. Continued use of ClickCopyPitch after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
